This plugin is maintained by pd90506 and is designed to add system-level notification support to the DeepSeek Harness Web GUI. When a task completes or a permission request occurs, the plugin alerts the user through the browser’s native notification system, helping prevent important updates from being missed when switching tabs. It monitors session status and permission events and delivers notifications through a polling mechanism that uses GET interfaces. After installation, the server must be restarted and notification permissions granted in the browser. Although it involves roughly a 2-second delay and requires the page to remain open, it has minimal resource consumption and supports transparent policy pass-through, making it well suited for long-running tasks or workflows that require frequent context switching.
